Who is Booth Creek Wagyu?
At Booth Creek, we're on a mission to elevate the idea of farm to table, owning the entire process from start to finish. Our unique model of business is made up of different entities, including Booth Creek Wagyu Ranch, Wagyu Feeders, and Meatworks of Kansas, to create a vertically integrated Wagyu beef company. Without these instrumental pieces, we would not be the Booth Creek Wagyu company you know today.
The process all starts with our Ranch. Located in the Flint Hills of Kansas, this makes for the perfect place to raise our herd of Fullblood and F1, also known as American Wagyu. These cattle are raised on the Ranch until it is time to be moved to finish out their growth with our specialized feeding program, Wagyu Feeders.
After being raised on our Ranch, our Wagyu cattle are taken to our specialized Wagyu feeding program at Wagyu Feeders. Wagyu Feeders is ahead of its time with using data and metrics to provide the correct feeding to each individual Wagyu cattle to ensure proper growth before being processed at our processing facility, Meatworks of Kansas.
Once our cattle are fully grown and grain-finished at Wagyu Feeders, they are taken to processing at our facility, Meatworks of Kansas. Meatworks of Kansas provides custom Wagyu beef processing and purveying services, with products undergoing stringent USDA inspections. Once processed, product is sent to our distribution center.
After being processed at our custom Wagyu beef plant, product is brought to our distribution center. This is where all products are stored before being sent to our retail stores in Manhattan, Overland Park, Prairie Village, and Wichita, Kansas. Our distribution center is also where all the product we sell online stays until it is bought. Through this whole process, all of our locations are within 20-mile radius of each other, making for a higher quality of beef that isn't being transported on long trips, which can be extremely stressful for the cattle and affect the quality of the meat.
We pride ourselves on being your local Wagyu beef salesman at Booth Creek Wagyu, putting quality above all else. We are here to elevate America’s standard of quality beef, and we plan to continue to do that for generations to come.
