The wait is finally over for the Prairie Village community, our Booth Creek Wagyu Meat Market is now open! This is second location in the Kansas City metro area, the first was opened in Overland Park in August of 2023.
Customers should expect to see similar faces as to those in Overland Park, with our Overland Park retail manager Jeff Jones stepping in to take over this new Prairie Village location. Along with familiar faces, we will still carry different grades of premium, Wagyu beef like our other retail stores. Items include steaks, hot dogs, burger patties, ground beef, roasts, and snack items, sourced from their Wagyu ranch in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

Wagyu beef, originally native only to Japan, is world-famous for its marbling, which is what gives this beef much of its tenderness and flavor. This rich, buttery beef has only been raised in the United States since the late 1970s, and more recently has gained popularity. At Booth Creek Wagyu, we pride ourselves on finding the perfect taste for customers and allowing them to dial in on the perfect flavor profile, similar to chocolate or whisky.
This is location in Prairie Village is our fourth retail store. Other retail locations include Manhattan, Wichita, and Overland Park, Kansas. Booth Creek Wagyu is a vertically integrated beef company, meaning we own the process from start to finish. All operations are taken place within a 20-mile radius of each other in the Flint Hills, making for a unique, local foods experience for our customers.
