New Name, Same Taste – The Seafood Shop is now Booth Creek Wagyu & Seafood Shop
Wichita, Kansas – Meat connoisseurs in Wichita can now buy their seafood and Wagyu beef at the same location. At the end of 2023, Booth Creek Wagyu, an innovative beef concept that is working to elevate the idea of farm to fork, acquired The Seafood Shop to diversify their string of brick-and-mortar shops as well as bring the phenomenal taste of Wagyu to customers in the Wichita area.
“Bringing The Seafood Shop and Booth Creek Wagyu together has been such a great opportunity for both sides,” said Audra Bell, previous manager of The Seafood Shop and current General Manager of Booth Creek Wagyu & Seafood Shop. “It has been so fun to be able to transition with the shop, still being there for our loyal customers and sharing my knowledge of seafood and Wagyu.”
Bringing an unparalleled selection of premium Wagyu beef products, Booth Creek Wagyu will supply steaks, hot dogs, burger patties, ground beef, roasts, and a selection of snacks including summer sausage, Wagyu jerky and snack sticks to be sold alongside all current Seafood Shop offerings.

Booth Creek Wagyu Seafood Shop will have a grand reopening day on April 6 full of tastings from the shop and vendors the shop carries, special deals, and giveaways. Wagyu beef, originally hailing only from Japan, is world-famous for its marbling, which is what gives this beef its tenderness and flavor. This rich, buttery beef has only been raised in the United States since the late 1970s, and more recently has gained popularity.
Booth Creek Wagyu’s original store is located in Manhattan, Kansas, less than 20 miles from its ranch and processing center in the Flint Hills.
