Booth Creek Wagyu Data Sharing Opt-Out Effective Date: 12/22/2025
At Booth Creek Wagyu, we respect your privacy and your right to control how your personal information is used. This page explains how we share your information and how you can opt out of certain data sharing practices.
Information We Collect
When you visit our website or make a purchase, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
• Identifiers: Name, email address, mailing address, phone number • Commercial Information: Products purchased, order history, shopping preferences
• Internet Activity: Browsing history on our site, interactions with our emails, IP address
• Payment Information: Credit card information (processed securely by Shopify Payments)
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, like many e-commerce businesses, we share certain information with advertising partners to deliver personalized advertisements to you across the internet. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) and several other state privacy laws, this type of sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though no money changes hands.
Advertising Partners
We share data with the following advertising and analytics platforms:
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: To understand how visitors use our site and to show you relevant ads on Google properties
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): To show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram via Meta Pixel
• Pinterest: To show you relevant ads on Pinterest
• TikTok: To show you relevant ads on TikTok
• LinkedIn: To show you relevant ads on LinkedIn
Service Providers (Not Opt-Out Eligible)
We also share information with service providers who help us operate our business. These are not considered "sales" or "shares" under privacy law because these providers work on our behalf. The list of providers is subject to change at Booth Creek Wagyu’s discretion and without notice:
• Shopify: Our e-commerce platform and payment processor
• Shop Pay: Accelerated checkout service
• Klaviyo: Email marketing platform (you can unsubscribe from emails separately)
Your Opt-Out Rights
For All Customers

We honor GPC signals as valid opt-out requests. GPC is built into browsers like Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, or available as an extension for other browsers. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Option 2: Platform-Specific Opt-Outs
You can opt out of targeted advertising on each platform directly: • Google: adssettings.google.com
